Chicken - Chicken Roasted in Balsamic Sauce Print Version

Notes: Wonderful served with a white rice or pilaf.
balsamic chicken

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves diced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
Wash and clean out whole chicken. Pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl with a whisk. Place chicken in gallon storage bag or large bowl and cover in sauce. Let sit in refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Flip bag or turn chicken in bowl several times to get good coat. Heat oven at 400 degrees. Place chicken in baking pan, cover with remaining sauce from bag and roast until cooked through completely, about 1 hour. Serve.
