Batter

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 lb. Butter
  • 9 Eggs
  • 2-2/3 cups Sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp ADAMS BUTTER FLAVOR
  • 1 tsp "ADAMS BEST" VANILLA
  • 1 1/2 tsp ADAMS PURE LEMON EXTRACT
Directions:
Use two bowls to mix this cake. In one bowl mix together the flour and butter and work until it is creamy. In second bowl, mix eggs and sugar, beating well. Combine egg and sugar with butter mixture. Add baking powder, salt, butter flavoring, lemon, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly. Pour into large tube pan. Bake 1 hour in 300 degree oven.
