• GLUTEN & ALLERGEN STATEMENT

  Adams adheres to the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA). Any dangerous allergens used in our products are clearly labeled in the ingredient statement of our items to ensure the safety of our customers. If no ingredient statement appears on the label, then the product is as it appears in the name (example: garlic). Adams does produce items that contain wheat, soy and milk in the manufacturing facility, however, we follow a strict Cleaning & Sanitation Procedure, as well as Allergen Segregation Practices and Allergen Scheduling to ensure that all allergens will not be cross-contaminated. No peanuts or tree nuts are used in our facility. By using these practices, it is unlikely that cross-contamination of wheat or other allergens in unacceptable levels will occur. Adams produces vanillas, extracts, and flavors that are 100% gluten free, not made with wheat (corm alcohol). Many of Adams spice products are also naturally gluten free. We strongly encourage you to read the ingredient statement on the package before consumption to ensure accurate information and safety.

  Adams is a member of the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA) and currently imports spices based on ASTA and FDA safety guidelines. Adams requires that all spices and ingredients known to possibly carry harmful pathogens be treated before entering our facility and all items must be tested and declared safe before being approved as an Adams product. In addition, Adams periodically performs 3rd party testing of potentially high-risk spices. Adams works hard to deliver high quality and safe products.
