Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

An easy oatmeal cookie recipe you can make without chilling prior to baking!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ADAMS GROUND CINNAMON
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp ADAMS BEST VANILLA
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a small bowl, combine the flour, sea salt, Adams Ground Cinnamon, baking soda & baking powder. Stir to combine and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar and butter.  Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add the egg and Adams Best Pure Vanilla Extract and egg and beat just until combined. Add the flour mixture and beat on low speed just until combined. Add the oatmeal and beat on low speed just until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Scoop out dough in 2 Tbsp increments and roll into a ball. Place on lined baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove from the over and allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
